The Singles’ Challenge that combines stand-up comedy with crowd participation. It's the perfect comedy icebreaker for singles events. This show combines stand-up comedy, improvisation, motivation, and crowd participation. Hosted by singles expert and “Relationship Critic” Scotty Gunther, an award-winning comedian, author, speaker, syndicated radio personality, and the 2008, 2009 and 2010 GIGMATER'S rising star award winner for top Emcee in North America.
Singles sit on the stage and are asked a series of questions that every “single” person should know. With the help of Scotty Gunther’s comedy and advice, guests will laugh and help Scotty figure out who is the “ultimate single.”

A. YES! If your event is a singles event, The Singles’ Challenge is the best choice in comedy entertainment. It’s better than hiring a DJ or a band and hoping that singles will find a way to mix and mingle on their own. Q. Do we need a lot of room? Is there a large set up?
A. No, this fits any size room! There is minimum set up, You just need a few chairs and we bring the rest.
Q. Why should I choose The Singles’ Challenge?
A. The great thing about The Singles’ Challenge is that it can be tailored to your event. This show will make everyone laugh, and it’s the perfect icebreaker. The days of having a singles event and expecting your guests to be able to mingle mix on their own are over. The reason singles go to an event is NOT to stand in the corner. This is why The Singles’ Challenge show is great for single’s events, conferences and any event with a large diverse group of people because individuals are showcased during the show. The Singles’ Challenge helps guests relax and have fun. So after they show, they CAN go out and talk to people. (Which is the whole purpose of having an event!) The participants will have fun, as well as entertaining the audience.
Q. Why do I need comedy entertainment at my singles event? I plan on just hiring a DJ or a band, why IS this a better choice?
A. There is nothing wrong with hiring a band or a DJ. They fit in nicely AFTER The Singles’ Challenge. But you can't have a singles event and just expect a band or a DJ to do anything more for your event besides “just play music.” This doesn't help shy people mingle more. Nothing is better for cutting tension or relaxing people than laughter. The Singles’ Challenge is compelling, unique, and helps singles relax and maybe even learn something...but we doubt it!
Q. What types of events are a perfect fit for The Singles’ Challenge?
A. This show is designed especially for single’s events, single’s Cruises, dating website events, speed dating events, parties, conventions, promotions, corporate events, and holiday parties!
If your event is "work related" in any way, The Co-Workers' Challenge is your best bet. Q. Is The Singles’ Challenge some type of fitness or sports challenge?
A. Ha-ha, NO! Your guests will sit in chairs, answer questions, laugh, and are not required to do a single push or pull up!

A. Singles expert and “Relationship Critic” Scotty Gunther will ask questions such as; How long should you wait to call someone back after you meet him or her? What is the most important thing in a relationship? Does everyone cheat? And other unique fun, funny questions every single person should know. Scotty will also tailor questions and material to fit your group of singles. Scotty has written relationship books, articles for national self-help magazines and specializes in relationship comedy and advice. Whether you are single on purpose or by mistake, (not YOUR mistakes of course!) laughter is the best medicine for a broken heart, loneliness, relationship frustration, or confusion, so The Singles’ Challenge is great for new beginnings and a great way to get to the heart of the singles lifestyle. It’s not therapy but YOU will feel better!
Q. How is this show fun for the audience members who are NOT participating?
A. Remember, this is a comedy show! The audience is not forgotten. It's fun watching others participate because they give goofy answers that become the catalyst for the comedy and improv. This show is different than a game show because it's used to create comedy, funny moments, and bits. The participants answers are a "jumping off point." If it was "JUST" the activity and you were relying on that, which might be boring for an audience. But this is a comedy show that happens to have people on stage too.
Q. Who provides the prizes?
A. We can bring some prizes, but we encourage event planers to get sponsors to provide unique prizes. Our host can also thank sponsors during the show.
Q. Can't I just be uncreative, rip this idea off, and do this myself?
A. No!The Singles’ Challenge and The Co-Workers' Challenge are copyrighted property, and just because you try to steal the idea, it's not going to be the same! It's NOT the concept; it's the host, Scotty Gunther that makes this show one of the most sought after entertainment shows in North America. This show is based on almost 20 years of live entertainment experience. You can steal Jeff Gordon's racecar... but you are NOT going to win a NASCAR race. (Chances are, you will just crash it into the wall!)
